Whenever I decide to get crafty and replicate something I've seen disaster always seems to strike. Things that I make just don't turn out quite like I think they should. For instance I decided to make Kellyn a tutu. Why spend $20 or $30 when I could spend less than half of that and make her one on my own? I'll tell you why- those expensive tutus are much nicer than mine.
It's not that my tutu looks terrible:
It looks nice and Kellyn seemed to like it. She pranced around the house for awhile. The problem with my tutu is that it stretched out and won't go back in:
It's now too big for her and I need to take it in. Sigh.
...And this is why I don't craft much.
