My heart aches for the girl whose life was changed forever today. I hope that the police are able to bring justice to her. She is in my thoughts and prayers tonight.
That’s the sad and difficult part of my job- finding out about the darker side of human life. They’re not details that I ever wanted to know, but now they are details that will help me effectively obtain information if I ever am on the receiving end of a call that is similar. I pray that if that situation ever arises God will give me the strength and grace to be effective and help the person on the other end of the line.
