Ever since (and maybe a little before) I have wanted to do this:
We picked a small wall in the basement and painted it with chalkboard paint for the kids. It finally cured and this morning I let them use it. Kellyn was more interested in putting the chalk away. Aric kept asking if he could draw on the doors. Obviously this will not be an unsupervised wall until they are older and a bit more trustworthy.
